| TICKET and EVENT POLICIES
1) One individual per ticket for the entire event. Tickets are non-transferrable without the prior consent of Dr. Meyers or his associates. The individual named on the ticket will be the only one admitted to the program. Identification may be required. In the event the person named on the ticket will not be able to attend, you must contact the Offices of Dr. Meyers at least at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled event (not including weekends and holidays) to effectuate the transfer. A $100 fee will apply. Complimentary tickets are not eligible for transfer.
2) Tickets are non-refundable. If, for any reason, you are unable to attend your scheduled event, contact the Offices of Dr. Meyers at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled event (not including weekends and holidays) to receive a credit toward a future event within one year. A $100 fee will apply. Complimentary tickets are not eligible.
3) Tickets are revocable at any time and for any reason at the discretion of Dr. Robert Meyers and his staff. Conduct which may lead to revocation of a ticket include, but are not limited to, use of recording devices, use of electrical devices, inappropriate behavior(s), inappropriate attire or hygiene, any fraudulent activity, any activity which infringes upon the rights of Dr. Meyers or others, or use of ticket(s) for any purpose other than the stated one without prior approval of Dr. Meyers (ie: resale, promotional/contests/sweepstakes, etc.).
4) Complimentary tickets are valid only for the date listed. These are non-transferrable and are not eligible for rescheduling. Complimentary tickets have no cash value and are not entitled to the same rights or offers as those tickets with cash value.
5) Please note: The facility is not handicapped accessible. Assistance entering and leaving the facility can be provided upon request.
6) Throughout this event you will learn and be exposed to many psychological theories, concepts and techniques. You will leave this seminar with the knowledge you need to begin making changes in your life that will make you feel happier and more satisfied. This is a psychoeducational seminar presented by a licensed, NY psychologist. A doctor/patient relationship is not created by the purchase of this ticket or attending this event. If you are in need of mental health services you should speak with Dr. Meyers, one of his associates or with a mental health professional of your own choosing, to discuss entering into a therapeutic relationship.
7) In the event the seminar you have scheduled does not reach Dr. Meyers’ necessary minimum number of participant’s for that event we have the right to cancel this ticket and offer a new event date to the participant or give a full refund. Complimentary tickets are not eligible.
8) This event is designed for adults. Please check our schedule for child and adolescent events. Those under the age of 18 will not be permitted entry.
9) Dr. Robert Meyers and his successors, assigns, licensees and affiliates own all rights to broadcast, transmit, film, tape, capture, overhear, photograph, collect or record by any means (including but not limited to television, cable television, radio, pay-per-view, closed circuit television, satellite signal, digital signal, and the Internet) all images, sounds and data arising from or during any Dr. Robert Meyers Event and Dr. Robert Meyers and his successors, assigns, licensees and affiliates shall be the sole owner of any and all copyrights, intellectual property rights, and proprietary rights worldwide in and to these works and in and to any other works, copyrightable or otherwise, created from the images, sounds and data arising from or during any Dr. Robert Meyers Event. The participant and/or ticket holder agrees not to take any action, or cause others to take any action, which would contravene, diminish, encroach, or infringe upon these rights.
10) The ticket holder irrevocably grants to Dr. Robert Meyers and his successors, assigns, licensees and affiliates the right to use ticket holder’s image, likeness, voice, actions and/or statements in all forms and media including composite or modified representatives for all purposes, including advertising, trade, or any commercial purpose throughout the world and in perpetuity. Ticket holder hereby waives any and all claims that Ticket holder may have for libel, defamation, invasion of privacy or right of publicity, infringement or copyright or violation of any other right arising out of or relating to any utilization of Ticket holder ’s image as described herein.
11) No recording devises are permitted.
